Who we are

Through storytelling, shared experiences, and creative expression, together we explore the magic of wellness, adventure, travel, spirituality, and art. We will be sharing stories from different interviews featured here at Living In Awe, blog-inspired open letters on insightful topics, and media highlighting artists and their unique individuality.

A word from our Chief Storyteller

The Living In Awe ember ignited as a result of my healing and expansion through my experience with cancer and then the birth of my new baby daughter. I became fascinated with the way she views the world. Her p e r c e p t i o n. She leads with curiosity and delves deeper into the wonder of every detail around her. From fiery golds in the mountainous sunset to just a simple thread where my old sweater is giving way. Both observations leave her equally stunned, bewildered, and innately changed. Every moment of everyday, she is always living in awe. I realized this is a form of what I had been doing through all the hardest years of my struggle with cancer. I leaned into my life and emphasized the living part of it more than the sickness and emotional pain I felt. I began experiencing life in ways I never knew possible and alongside that, I was noticing everything. I wrapped my life in gratitude and embraced the shift. More than surviving and beating all the statistics that accompanied my cancer, I was living. Rather, I was surviving and surpassing statistics because I was living.

If we revel in every moment and every minor, seemingly insignificant circumstance, object, or encounter throughout our day…how would that change it? Change us? Change our life?

To my daughter, everything is miraculous. And to me, watching everything through her lens is miraculous—but how about viewing everything through my own lens in the miraculous? That is the voyage we are choosing consciously to wander into here in this curious and creative space that is Living In Awe.
